Later, the other virgins came too, saying, ‘Lord, lord! Let us in!’

“Why do you call me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and don’t do what I tell you?

But they said to him, ‘Sir, he has ten minas already!’

So they came and woke him up saying, “Lord, save us! We are about to die!”

But she came and bowed down before him and said, “Lord, help me!”

They said to him, “Lord, let our eyes be opened.”

The boy answered, ‘I will not.’ But later he had a change of heart and went.

“What do you want me to do for you?” He replied, “Lord, let me see again.”

The woman said to him, “Sir, I see that you are a prophet.

“Sir,” the official said to him, “come down before my child dies.”

So they said to him, “Sir, give us this bread all the time!”

The man replied, “And who is he, sir, that I may believe in him?”

[He said, “Lord, I believe,” and he worshiped him.

Then the disciples replied, “Lord, if he has fallen asleep, he will recover.”

Philip said, “Lord, show us the Father, and we will be content.”

So when Peter saw him, he asked Jesus, “Lord, what about him?”

But Peter said, “Certainly not, Lord, for I have never eaten anything defiled and ritually unclean!”

But I said, ‘Certainly not, Lord, for nothing defiled or ritually unclean has ever entered my mouth!’

The one who testifies to these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon!” Amen! Come, Lord Jesus!

“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter into the kingdom of heaven – only the one who does the will of my Father in heaven.
