Later, the other virgins came too, saying, ‘Lord, lord! Let us in!’

So they came and woke him up saying, “Lord, save us! We are about to die!”

But she came and bowed down before him and said, “Lord, help me!”

They said to him, “Lord, let our eyes be opened.”

The boy answered, ‘I will not.’ But later he had a change of heart and went.

“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter into the kingdom of heaven – only the one who does the will of my Father in heaven.

On that day, many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, didn’t we prophesy in your name, and in your name cast out demons and do many powerful deeds?’

And a leper approached, and bowed low before him, saying, “Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean.”

“Lord, my servant is lying at home paralyzed, in terrible anguish.”

Another of the disciples said to him, “Lord, let me first go and bury my father.”

But when he saw the strong wind he became afraid. And starting to sink, he cried out, “Lord, save me!”

They became greatly distressed and each one began to say to him, “Surely not I, Lord?”

and said, “Sir, we remember that while that deceiver was still alive he said, ‘After three days I will rise again.’

So the slaves of the owner came and said to him, ‘Sir, didn’t you sow good seed in your field? Then where did the weeds come from?’

Peter said to him, “Lord, if it is you, order me to come to you on the water.”

“Yes, Lord,” she replied, “but even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their masters’ table.”

So Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him: “God forbid, Lord! This must not happen to you!”

and said, “Lord, have mercy on my son, because he has seizures and suffers terribly, for he often falls into the fire and into the water.

Then Peter came to him and said, “Lord, how many times must I forgive my brother who sins against me? As many as seven times?”

Two blind men were sitting by the road. When they heard that Jesus was passing by, they shouted, “Have mercy on us, Lord, Son of David!”
