Then one of the twelve, the one named Judas Iscariot, went to the chief priests

They came to a place called Golgotha (which means “Place of the Skull”)

and Jacob the father of Joseph, the husband of Mary, by whom Jesus was born, who is called Christ.

A man named Barabbas was imprisoned with rebels who had committed murder during an insurrection.

So Thomas (called Didymus) said to his fellow disciples, “Let us go too, so that we may die with him.”

Now Thomas (called Didymus), one of the twelve, was not with them when Jesus came.

While he was still speaking, suddenly a crowd appeared, and the man named Judas, one of the twelve, was leading them. He walked up to Jesus to kiss him.

The woman said to him, “I know that Messiah is coming” (the one called Christ); “whenever he comes, he will tell us everything.”

And Jesus who is called Justus also sends greetings. In terms of Jewish converts, these are the only fellow workers for the kingdom of God, and they have been a comfort to me.

Now these are the names of the twelve apostles: first, Simon (called Peter), and Andrew his brother; James son of Zebedee and John his brother;

He replied, “The man called Jesus made mud, smeared it on my eyes and told me, ‘Go to Siloam and wash.’ So I went and washed, and was able to see.”

Simon Peter, Thomas (called Didymus), Nathanael (who was from Cana in Galilee), the sons of Zebedee, and two other disciples of his were together.
