Hypocrites! Isaiah prophesied correctly about you when he said,

But Peter began and explained it to them point by point, saying,

“Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near.”

Then he began to teach them by saying:

Then he touched their eyes saying, “Let it be done for you according to your faith.”

Jesus spoke to them again in parables, saying:

He said to them, “How then does David by the Spirit call him ‘Lord,’ saying,

“The experts in the law and the Pharisees sit on Moses’ seat.

But he denied it in front of them all: “I don’t know what you’re talking about!”

But Jesus rebuked him: “Silence! Come out of him!”

Jesus sent him home, saying, “Do not even go into the village.”

Then his father Zechariah was filled with the Holy Spirit and prophesied,

But Jesus gently took her by the hand and said, “Child, get up.”

He then told them a parable: “The land of a certain rich man produced an abundant crop,

So Jesus told them this parable:

So he called out, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!”

But Peter denied it: “Woman, I don’t know him!”

You who tell others not to commit adultery, do you commit adultery? You who abhor idols, do you rob temples?

saying, “Surely I will bless you greatly and multiply your descendants abundantly.”

and said, “This is the blood of the covenant that God has commanded you to keep.”
