For they did not dare any longer to ask him anything.

However, Paul shook the creature off into the fire and suffered no harm.

There are probably many kinds of languages in the world, and none is without meaning.

For every creation of God is good and no food is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving.

For we have brought nothing into this world and so we cannot take a single thing out either.

But from those who were influential (whatever they were makes no difference to me; God shows no favoritism between people) – those influential leaders added nothing to my message.

Jesus spoke all these things in parables to the crowds; he did not speak to them without a parable.

So the high priest stood up and said to him, “Have you no answer? What is this that they are testifying against you?”

So Pilate asked him again, “Have you nothing to say? See how many charges they are bringing against you!”

Nothing is hidden that will not be revealed, and nothing is secret that will not be made known.

Then Pilate said to the chief priests and the crowds, “I find no basis for an accusation against this man.”

Neither did Herod, for he sent him back to us. Look, he has done nothing deserving death.
