Then the high priest said, “Are these things true?”

So Paul left the Areopagus.

In this way the word of the Lord continued to grow in power and to prevail.

The Jews also joined in the verbal attack, claiming that these things were true.

But the things God foretold long ago through all the prophets – that his Christ would suffer – he has fulfilled in this way.

Then Paul went back upstairs, and after he had broken bread and eaten, he talked with them a long time, until dawn. Then he left.
