When he saw Peter and John about to go into the temple courts, he asked them for money.

Now as Peter was traveling around from place to place, he also came down to the saints who lived in Lydda.

Now when they heard this, they were acutely distressed and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “What should we do, brothers?”

When she recognized Peter’s voice, she was so overjoyed she did not open the gate, but ran back in and told them that Peter was standing at the gate.
