These had gone on ahead and were waiting for us in Troas.

So they came and woke him up saying, “Lord, save us! We are about to die!”

Then the disciples came to him and said, “Why do you speak to them in parables?”

But he did not answer her a word. Then his disciples came and begged him, “Send her away, because she keeps on crying out after us.”

Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, “Why couldn’t we cast it out?”

Jesus said to him, “Friend, do what you are here to do.” Then they came and took hold of Jesus and arrested him.

and declared, “This man said, ‘I am able to destroy the temple of God and rebuild it in three days.’”

When it was already late, his disciples came to him and said, “This is an isolated place and it is already very late.

After a little while, those standing there came up to Peter and said, “You really are one of them too – even your accent gives you away!”

They came and woke him, saying, “Master, Master, we are about to die!” So he got up and rebuked the wind and the raging waves; they died down, and it was calm.

Now the day began to draw to a close, so the twelve came and said to Jesus, “Send the crowd away, so they can go into the surrounding villages and countryside and find lodging and food, because we are in an isolated place.”
