Then I saw three unclean spirits that looked like frogs coming out of the mouth of the dragon, out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.

as he spoke through the mouth of his holy prophets from long ago,

plotting against him, to catch him in something he might say.

But the things that come out of the mouth come from the heart, and these things defile a person.

Then they said, “Why do we need further testimony? We have heard it ourselves from his own lips!”

But the things God foretold long ago through all the prophets – that his Christ would suffer – he has fulfilled in this way.
