All these things are the beginning of birth pains.

“Have you understood all these things?” They replied, “Yes.”

And he said to him, “I will give you all these things if you throw yourself to the ground and worship me.”

The young man said to him, “I have wholeheartedly obeyed all these laws. What do I still lack?”

I tell you the truth, this generation will be held responsible for all these things!

But above all pursue his kingdom and righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

Jesus spoke all these things in parables to the crowds; he did not speak to them without a parable.

And aren’t all his sisters here with us? Where did he get all this?”

These are the things that defile a person; it is not eating with unwashed hands that defiles a person.”

So also you, when you see all these things, know that he is near, right at the door.

I tell you the truth, this generation will not pass away until all these things take place.

For the unconverted pursue these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them.

So they answered Jesus, “We don’t know.” Then he said to them, “Neither will I tell you by what authority I am doing these things.

As he was saying these things, a ruler came, bowed low before him, and said, “My daughter has just died, but come and lay your hand on her and she will live.”

Now these are the names of the twelve apostles: first, Simon (called Peter), and Andrew his brother; James son of Zebedee and John his brother;

At that time Jesus said, “I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and intelligent, and revealed them to little children.

Now after Jesus entered the temple courts, the chief priests and elders of the people came up to him as he was teaching and said, “By what authority are you doing these things, and who gave you this authority?”

Jesus answered them, “I will also ask you one question. If you answer me then I will also tell you by what authority I do these things.

And he said to them, “Do you see all these things? I tell you the truth, not one stone will be left on another. All will be torn down!”

As he was sitting on the Mount of Olives, his disciples came to him privately and said, “Tell us, when will these things happen? And what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?”
