And in the same way he took the cup after they had eaten, saying, “This cup that is poured out for you is the new covenant in my blood.

Therefore see to it that the light in you is not darkness.

You fools! Didn’t the one who made the outside make the inside as well?

“Salt is good, but if salt loses its flavor, how can its flavor be restored?

“Father, if you are willing, take this cup away from me. Yet not my will but yours be done.”

So Pilate decided that their demand should be granted.

So Simeon, directed by the Spirit, came into the temple courts, and when the parents brought in the child Jesus to do for him what was customary according to the law,

The women who had accompanied Jesus from Galilee followed, and they saw the tomb and how his body was laid in it.
