He wrote a letter that went like this:

showing yourself to be an example of good works in every way. In your teaching show integrity, dignity,

Be imitators of me, brothers and sisters, and watch carefully those who are living this way, just as you have us as an example.

As a result you became an example to all the believers in Macedonia and in Achaia.

It was not because we do not have that right, but to give ourselves as an example for you to imitate.

But thanks be to God that though you were slaves to sin, you obeyed from the heart that pattern of teaching you were entrusted to,

The other disciples told him, “We have seen the Lord!” But he replied, “Unless I see the wounds from the nails in his hands, and put my finger into the wounds from the nails, and put my hand into his side, I will never believe it!”

Our ancestors had the tabernacle of testimony in the wilderness, just as God who spoke to Moses ordered him to make it according to the design he had seen.

The place where they serve is a sketch and shadow of the heavenly sanctuary, just as Moses was warned by God as he was about to complete the tabernacle. For he says, “See that you make everything according to the design shown to you on the mountain.”
