and a third of the creatures living in the sea died, and a third of the ships were completely destroyed.

Furthermore, they did not repent of their murders, of their magic spells, of their sexual immorality, or of their stealing.

They blasphemed the God of heaven because of their sufferings and because of their sores, but nevertheless they still refused to repent of their deeds.

The smoke coming from the incense, along with the prayers of the saints, ascended before God from the angel’s hand.
