His disciples answered him, “Where can someone get enough bread in this desolate place to satisfy these people?”

Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘Look, there he is!’ do not believe him.

He said to them, “My soul is deeply grieved, even to the point of death. Remain here and stay alert.”

If anyone says to you, ‘Why are you doing this?’ say, ‘The Lord needs it and will send it back here soon.’”

Jesus said to him, “Do you see these great buildings? Not one stone will be left on another. All will be torn down!”

Then they went to a place called Gethsemane, and Jesus said to his disciples, “Sit here while I pray.”

Isn’t this the carpenter, the son of Mary and brother of James, Joses, Judas, and Simon? And aren’t his sisters here with us?” And so they took offense at him.

And he said to them, “I tell you the truth, there are some standing here who will not experience death before they see the kingdom of God come with power.”

So Peter said to Jesus, “Rabbi, it is good for us to be here. Let us make three shelters – one for you, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.”

But he said to them, “Do not be alarmed. You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has been raised! He is not here. Look, there is the place where they laid him.
