When Aaron saw this, he built an altar before it, and Aaron made a proclamation and said, “Tomorrow will be a feast to the Lord.”

and wrap the sashes around Aaron and his sons and put headbands on them, and so the ministry of priesthood will belong to them by a perpetual ordinance. Thus you are to consecrate Aaron and his sons.

The Lord said to Moses and Aaron,

Moses and Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, and the seventy elders of Israel went up,

You must make holy garments for your brother Aaron, for glory and for beauty.

and Aaron and his sons must wash their hands and their feet from it.

They made tunics of fine linen – the work of a weaver, for Aaron and for his sons –

“And you, bring near to you your brother Aaron and his sons with him from among the Israelites, so that they may minister as my priests – Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar, Aaron’s sons.

Then Moses and Aaron went and brought together all the Israelite elders.

When they went out from Pharaoh, they encountered Moses and Aaron standing there to meet them,

So the Lord said to Moses, “See, I have made you like God to Pharaoh, and your brother Aaron will be your prophet.

And Moses and Aaron did so; they did just as the Lord commanded them.

Now Moses was eighty years old and Aaron was eighty-three years old when they spoke to Pharaoh.

Each man threw down his staff, and the staffs became snakes. But Aaron’s staff swallowed up their staffs.

Then Pharaoh summoned Moses and Aaron and said, “Go, sacrifice to your God within the land.”

Then Pharaoh quickly summoned Moses and Aaron and said, “I have sinned against the Lord your God and against you!

The Lord said to Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt,

and the Israelites went away and did exactly as the Lord had commanded Moses and Aaron.

The entire company of Israelites murmured against Moses and Aaron in the desert.

Just as the Lord commanded Moses, so Aaron placed it before the Testimony for safekeeping.
