The mind that acts rashly will possess discernment and the tongue that stutters will speak with ease and clarity.

Your children hurry back, while those who destroyed and devastated you depart.

They say, “Let him hurry, let him act quickly, so we can see; let the plan of the Holy One of Israel take shape and come to pass, then we will know it!”

The one who suffers will soon be released; he will not die in prison, he will not go hungry.

Tell those who panic, “Be strong! Do not fear! Look, your God comes to avenge! With divine retribution he comes to deliver you.”

They are eager to do evil, quick to shed innocent blood. Their thoughts are sinful; they crush and destroy.
