They were the men who were speaking to Pharaoh king of Egypt, in order to bring the Israelites out of Egypt. It was the same Moses and Aaron.

So Aaron extended his hand over the waters of Egypt, and frogs came up and covered the land of Egypt.

It will become fine dust over the whole land of Egypt and will cause boils to break out and fester on both people and animals in all the land of Egypt.”

and they said to Moses, “Is it because there are no graves in Egypt that you have taken us away to die in the desert? What in the world have you done to us by bringing us out of Egypt?

So the people spread out through all the land of Egypt to collect stubble for straw.

When the Lord spoke to Moses in the land of Egypt,

I will pass through the land of Egypt in the same night, and I will attack all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both of humans and of animals, and on all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment. I am the Lord.

These are the names of the sons of Israel who entered Egypt – each man with his household entered with Jacob:

All the people who were directly descended from Jacob numbered seventy. But Joseph was already in Egypt,

Then a new king, who did not know about Joseph, came to power over Egypt.

The king of Egypt said to the Hebrew midwives, one of whom was named Shiphrah and the other Puah,

But I know that the king of Egypt will not let you go, not even under force.

“Go, tell Pharaoh king of Egypt that he must release the Israelites from his land.”

But I will harden Pharaoh’s heart, and although I will multiply my signs and my wonders in the land of Egypt,

Then Pharaoh also summoned wise men and sorcerers, and the magicians of Egypt by their secret arts did the same thing.

The magicians did the same with their secret arts and brought up frogs on the land of Egypt too.

Moses said, “Thus says the Lord: ‘About midnight I will go throughout Egypt,

The Lord said to Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt,

Now the length of time the Israelites lived in Egypt was 430 years.
