They will teach Jacob your ordinances and Israel your law; they will offer incense as a pleasant odor, and a whole offering on your altar.

for the Lord your God, who is present among you, is a jealous God and his anger will erupt against you and remove you from the land.

for they will turn your sons away from me to worship other gods. Then the anger of the Lord will erupt against you and he will quickly destroy you.

For I was terrified at the Lord’s intense anger that threatened to destroy you. But he listened to me this time as well.

Then all the nations will ask, “Why has the Lord done all this to this land? What is this fierce, heated display of anger all about?”

That is why the Lord’s anger erupted against this land, bringing on it all the curses written in this scroll.

For a fire has been kindled by my anger, and it burns to lowest Sheol; it consumes the earth and its produce, and ignites the foundations of the mountains.

Then the anger of the Lord will erupt against you and he will close up the sky so that it does not rain. The land will not yield its produce, and you will soon be removed from the good land that the Lord is about to give you.

At that time my anger will erupt against them and I will abandon them and hide my face from them until they are devoured. Many disasters and distresses will overcome them so that they will say at that time, ‘Have not these disasters overcome us because our God is not among us?’
