You must use just balances, a just dry measure (an ephah), and a just liquid measure (a bath).

You must have honest balances, honest weights, an honest ephah, and an honest hin. I am the Lord your God who brought you out from the land of Egypt.

I put on righteousness and it clothed me, my just dealing was like a robe and a turban;

let him weigh me with honest scales; then God will discover my integrity.

“Do you think this to be just: when you say, ‘My right before God.’

With my knowledge I will speak comprehensively, and to my Creator I will ascribe righteousness.

Then I will tell others about your justice, and praise you all day long.

He will vindicate you in broad daylight, and publicly defend your just cause.

Then he will judge your people fairly, and your oppressed ones equitably.

I will give you sincere thanks, when I learn your just regulations.

I have vowed and solemnly sworn to keep your just regulations.

ע (Ayin) I do what is fair and right. Do not abandon me to my oppressors!

My eyes grow tired as I wait for your deliverance, for your reliable promise to be fulfilled.

The rules you impose are just, and absolutely reliable.

Your justice endures, and your law is reliable.

Your rules remain just. Give me insight so that I can live.

Seven times a day I praise you because of your just regulations.

May your priests be clothed with integrity! May your loyal followers shout for joy!
