The magicians could not stand before Moses because of the boils, for boils were on the magicians and on all the Egyptians.

“When someone’s body has a boil on its skin and it heals,

and in the place of the boil there is a white swelling or a reddish white bright spot, he must show himself to the priest.

But if the bright spot stays in its place and has not spread, it is the scar of the boil, so the priest is to pronounce him clean.

The Lord will afflict you with the boils of Egypt and with tumors, eczema, and scabies, all of which cannot be healed.

Isaiah ordered, “Get a fig cake.” So they did as he ordered and placed it on the ulcerated sore, and he recovered.

Isaiah ordered, “Let them take a fig cake and apply it to the ulcerated sore and he will get well.”

It will become fine dust over the whole land of Egypt and will cause boils to break out and fester on both people and animals in all the land of Egypt.”

So they took soot from a furnace and stood before Pharaoh, Moses threw it into the air, and it caused festering boils to break out on both people and animals.

The priest will then examine it, and if it appears to be deeper than the skin and its hair has turned white, then the priest is to pronounce the person unclean. It is a diseased infection that has broken out in the boil.

The Lord will afflict you in your knees and on your legs with painful, incurable boils – from the soles of your feet to the top of your head.

So Satan went out from the presence of the Lord, and he afflicted Job with a malignant ulcer from the sole of his feet to the top of his head.
