But Jeshurun became fat and kicked, you got fat, thick, and stuffed! Then he deserted the God who made him, and treated the Rock who saved him with contempt.

May God give you the dew of the sky and the richness of the earth, and plenty of grain and new wine.

So his father Isaac said to him, “Indeed, your home will be away from the richness of the earth, and away from the dew of the sky above.

They captured fortified cities and fertile land. They took possession of houses full of all sorts of good things – wells previously dug, vineyards, olive trees, and fruit trees in abundance. They ate until they were full and grew fat. They enjoyed to the full your great goodness.
