“You must be sure to do my commandments. I am the Lord.

Then the priest must offer them up in smoke on the altar as a gift to the Lord. It is a guilt offering.

You must be sure to obey my statutes. I am the Lord who sanctifies you.

“‘If you walk in my statutes and are sure to obey my commandments,

You can present them to the Lord as an offering of first fruit, but they must not go up to the altar for a soothing aroma.

This is the allotment of Aaron and the allotment of his sons from the Lord’s gifts on the day Moses presented them to serve as priests to the Lord.

So Moses brought Aaron and his sons forward and washed them with water.

He must then take the two goats and stand them before the Lord at the entrance of the Meeting Tent,

You must be sure to obey all my statutes and regulations. I am the Lord.’”

“‘These are the Lord’s appointed times, holy assemblies, which you must proclaim at their appointed time.

You must obey my statutes and my regulations; you must be sure to keep them so that you may live securely in the land.

The land must not be sold without reclaim because the land belongs to me, for you are foreigners and residents with me.

Since they are my servants whom I brought out from the land of Egypt, they must not be sold in a slave sale.

“‘As for the ones who remain among you, they will rot away because of their iniquity in the lands of your enemies, and they will also rot away because of their ancestors’ iniquities which are with them.

Next, the one presenting the offering must cut it into parts, with its head and its suet, and the priest must arrange them on the wood which is in the fire, on the altar.

He must bring them to the priest and present first the one that is for a sin offering. The priest must pinch its head at the nape of its neck, but must not sever the head from the body.

This is what the Lord commanded to give to them from the Israelites on the day Moses anointed them – a perpetual allotted portion throughout their generations.

Then Moses took the anointing oil and anointed the tabernacle and everything in it, and so consecrated them.

Moses also brought forward Aaron’s sons, clothed them with tunics, wrapped sashes around them, and wrapped headbands on them just as the Lord had commanded Moses.

He then put all of them on the palms of Aaron and his sons, who waved them as a wave offering before the Lord.
