Be careful, therefore, to do exactly what the Lord your God has commanded you; do not turn right or left!

Be certain to keep all the statutes and ordinances that I am presenting to you today.

“Therefore, keep the terms of this covenant and obey them so that you may be successful in everything you do.

So be sure to do them, because this will testify of your wise understanding to the people who will learn of all these statutes and say, “Indeed, this great nation is a very wise people.”

Then Moses called all the people of Israel together and said to them: “Listen, Israel, to the statutes and ordinances that I am about to deliver to you today; learn them and be careful to keep them!

If you obey these ordinances and are careful to do them, the Lord your God will faithfully keep covenant with you as he promised your ancestors.

Now pay attention to all the commandments I am giving you today, so that you may be strong enough to enter and possess the land where you are headed,
