So the Israelites did so, and expelled them outside the camp. As the Lord had spoken to Moses, so the Israelites did.

This is the way it used to be continually: The cloud would cover it by day, and there was a fiery appearance by night.

My servant Moses is not like this; he is faithful in all my house.

The Israelites did according to all that the Lord commanded Moses – that is what they did.

You must offer up a cake of the first of your finely ground flour as a raised offering; as you offer the raised offering of the threshing floor, so you must offer it up.

As the Lord had commanded Moses, so the daughters of Zelophehad did.

After this, the Levites went in to do their work in the tent of meeting before Aaron and before his sons. As the Lord had commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so they did.

“Then the tent of meeting with the camp of the Levites will travel in the middle of the camps. They will travel in the same order as they camped, each in his own place under his standard.

And Aaron did so; he set up the lamps to face toward the front of the lampstand, as the Lord commanded Moses.

“After this, the Levites will go in to do the work of the tent of meeting. So you must cleanse them and offer them like a wave offering.

Moses said, “Do not leave us, because you know places for us to camp in the wilderness, and you could be our guide.

Say to them, ‘As I live, says the Lord, I will surely do to you just what you have spoken in my hearing.

For the Amalekites and the Canaanites are there before you, and you will fall by the sword. Because you have turned away from the Lord, the Lord will not be with you.”

If a resident foreigner is living with you – or whoever is among you in future generations – and prepares an offering made by fire as a pleasing aroma to the Lord, he must do it the same way you are to do it.

“The daughters of Zelophehad have a valid claim. You must indeed give them possession of an inheritance among their father’s relatives, and you must transfer the inheritance of their father to them.

Then the Gadites and the Reubenites answered, “Your servants will do what the Lord has spoken.
