Then the priest must offer it up in smoke on the altar as a food gift to the Lord.

It is a guilt offering; he was surely guilty before the Lord.”

When Moses heard this explanation, he was satisfied.

But if he does not wash his clothes and does not bathe his body, he will bear his punishment for iniquity.’”

He must not profane his children among his people, for I am the Lord who sanctifies him.’”

So Moses spoke to the Israelites about the appointed times of the Lord.

So they placed him in custody until they were able to make a clear legal decision for themselves based on words from the mouth of the Lord.

Then the priest must offer its memorial portion up in smoke – some of its crushed bits, some of its olive oil, in addition to all of its frankincense – it is a gift to the Lord.

This is a perpetual statute throughout your generations in all the places where you live: You must never eat any fat or any blood.’”

Every grain offering of a priest must be a whole offering; it must not be eaten.”

Every grain offering, whether mixed with olive oil or dry, belongs to all the sons of Aaron, each one alike.

Any person who eats any blood – that person will be cut off from his people.’”

The priest must then examine it, and if the scab has spread on the skin, then the priest is to pronounce the person unclean. It is a disease.

The priest will then examine it, and if the infection has turned white, the priest is to pronounce the person with the infection clean – he is clean.

This is the law of the one in whom there is a diseased infection, who does not have sufficient means for his purification.”

You must stand up in the presence of the aged, honor the presence of an elder, and fear your God. I am the Lord.

You must be sure to obey all my statutes and regulations. I am the Lord.’”

So Moses spoke these things to Aaron, his sons, and all the Israelites.

and so cause them to incur a penalty for guilt when they eat their holy offerings, for I am the Lord who sanctifies them.’”
