“You shall not murder.

“You shall not commit adultery.

“You shall not steal.

“You must not blaspheme God or curse the ruler of your people.

You must not make gods of silver alongside me, nor make gods of gold for yourselves.

Moses alone may come near the Lord, but the others must not come near, nor may the people go up with him.”

You must not offer strange incense on it, nor burnt offering, nor meal offering, and you must not pour out a drink offering on it.

But he added, “You cannot see my face, for no one can see me and live.”

A foreigner and a hired worker must not eat it.

“You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor.

“You must not allow a sorceress to live.

“You must not afflict any widow or orphan.

and you must not show partiality to a poor man in his lawsuit.

“You must not turn away justice for your poor people in their lawsuits.

“You must make no covenant with them or with their gods.

You must not make yourselves molten gods.

Moses answered again, “And if they do not believe me or pay attention to me, but say, ‘The Lord has not appeared to you’?”

There will be a great cry throughout the whole land of Egypt, such as there has never been, nor ever will be again.

It must be eaten in one house; you must not bring any of the meat outside the house, and you must not break a bone of it.

“You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not hold guiltless anyone who takes his name in vain.
