Then Mephibosheth bowed and said, “Of what importance am I, your servant, that you show regard for a dead dog like me?”

The Philistine said to David, “Am I a dog, that you are coming after me with sticks?” Then the Philistine cursed David by his gods.

So he brought the men down to the water. Then the Lord said to Gideon, “Separate those who lap the water as a dog laps from those who kneel to drink.”
