So Miriam was shut outside of the camp for seven days, and the people did not journey on until Miriam was brought back in.

Moses, Eleazar the priest, and all the leaders of the community went out to meet them outside the camp.

All those numbered of the camp of Reuben, according to their divisions, are 151,450. They will travel second.

You must expel both men and women; you must put them outside the camp, so that they will not defile their camps, among which I live.”

So the Israelites did so, and expelled them outside the camp. As the Lord had spoken to Moses, so the Israelites did.
