He said to his father, “My head! My head!” His father told a servant, “Carry him to his mother.”

The Lord’s angelic messenger said to Elijah, “Go down with him. Don’t be afraid of him.” So he got up and went down with him to the king.

The boy grew and one day he went out to see his father who was with the harvest workers.

He turned his face to the wall and prayed to the Lord,

When King Hezekiah’s servants came to Isaiah,

So she went to visit the prophet at Mount Carmel. When he saw her at a distance, he said to his servant Gehazi, “Look, it’s the Shunammite woman.

So Jehu got up and went inside. Then the prophet poured the olive oil on his head and said to him, “This is what the Lord God of Israel says, ‘I have designated you as king over the Lord’s people Israel.

When they came back, Elisha was staying in Jericho. He said to them, “Didn’t I tell you, ‘Don’t go’?”

One day Elisha came for a visit; he went into the upper room and rested.
