“Whoever strikes someone so that he dies must surely be put to death.

“Whoever strikes his father or his mother must surely be put to death.

“Whoever treats his father or his mother disgracefully must surely be put to death.

One who beats an animal to death must make restitution for it, but one who beats a person to death must be put to death.

and one who misuses the name of the Lord must surely be put to death. The whole congregation must surely stone him, whether he is a foreigner or a native citizen; when he misuses the Name he must be put to death.

At the testimony of two or three witnesses they must be executed. They cannot be put to death on the testimony of only one witness.
