But whenever raw flesh appears in it he will be unclean,

You must not rule over him harshly, but you must fear your God.

“When someone’s body has a boil on its skin and it heals,

The law is the same for the sin offering and the guilt offering; it belongs to the priest who makes atonement with it.

“When a man or a woman has an infection on the head or in the beard,

“When a garment has a diseased infection in it, whether a wool or linen garment,

the priest is to command that they wash whatever has the infection and quarantine it for another seven days.

This is the law of the one in whom there is a diseased infection, who does not have sufficient means for his purification.”

A clay vessel which the man with the discharge touches must be broken, and any wooden utensil must be rinsed in water.

or a man who has had a broken leg or arm,

You must not present anything that has a flaw, because it will not be acceptable for your benefit.

“‘If your brother becomes impoverished and is indebted to you, you must support him; he must live with you like a foreign resident.

“‘If your brother becomes impoverished with regard to you so that he sells himself to you, you must not subject him to slave service.

No man from the descendants of Aaron the priest who has a physical flaw may step forward to present the Lord’s gifts; he has a physical flaw, so he must not step forward to present the food of his God.

Any clay vessel it is boiled in must be broken, and if it was boiled in a bronze vessel, then that vessel must be rubbed out and rinsed in water.

Then Moses took the anointing oil and anointed the tabernacle and everything in it, and so consecrated them.

If, as far as the priest can see, the scall has stayed the same and black hair has sprouted in it, the scall has been healed; the person is clean. So the priest is to pronounce him clean.

“As for the diseased person who has the infection, his clothes must be torn, the hair of his head must be unbound, he must cover his mustache, and he must call out ‘Unclean! Unclean!’

The whole time he has the infection he will be continually unclean. He must live in isolation, and his place of residence must be outside the camp.

Anyone whom the man with the discharge touches without having rinsed his hands in water must wash his clothes, bathe in water, and be unclean until evening.
