A psalm of David. Acknowledge the Lord, you heavenly beings, acknowledge the Lord’s majesty and power!

For I will proclaim the name of the Lord; you must acknowledge the greatness of our God.

“Have I ever said, ‘Give me something, and from your fortune make gifts in my favor’?

Acknowledge the majesty of the Lord’s reputation! Worship the Lord in holy attire!

Ascribe to the Lord the splendor he deserves! Bring an offering and enter his courts!

They consume their alcohol, then engage in cult prostitution; they dearly love their shameful behavior.

Then Joseph said, “If your money is gone, bring your livestock, and I will give you food in exchange for your livestock.”

Select wise and practical men, those known among your tribes, whom I may appoint as your leaders.”
