The Israelites followed the Lord’s instructions to Moses and divided up the land.

They marched around the city one time on the second day, then returned to the camp. They did this six days in all.

and to Isaac I gave Jacob and Esau. To Esau I assigned Mount Seir, while Jacob and his sons went down to Egypt.

We said, ‘If in the future they say such a thing to us or to our descendants, we will reply, “See the model of the Lord’s altar that our ancestors made, not for burnt offerings or sacrifices, but as a reminder to us and you.”’
