Now when he approached Bethphage and Bethany, at the place called the Mount of Olives, he sent two of the disciples,

Then Jesus went out and made his way, as he customarily did, to the Mount of Olives, and the disciples followed him.

So every day Jesus was teaching in the temple courts, but at night he went and stayed on the Mount of Olives.

As he approached the road leading down from the Mount of Olives, the whole crowd of his disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works they had seen:

“No one lights a lamp and then covers it with a jar or puts it under a bed, but puts it on a lampstand so that those who come in can see the light.
