The second married her and died without any children, and likewise the third.

He appointed twelve: To Simon he gave the name Peter;

to James and his brother John, the sons of Zebedee, he gave the name Boanerges (that is, “sons of thunder”);

Jesus said to him, “I tell you the truth, today – this very night – before a rooster crows twice, you will deny me three times.”
