Now we know that God’s judgment is in accordance with truth against those who practice such things.

Not only this, but we also rejoice in sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance,

For we know that the law is spiritual – but I am unspiritual, sold into slavery to sin.

Listen! I, Paul, tell you that if you let yourselves be circumcised, Christ will be of no benefit to you at all!

because you know that each person, whether slave or free, if he does something good, this will be rewarded by the Lord.

Therefore I am all the more eager to send him, so that when you see him again you can rejoice and I can be free from anxiety.

because you know that you will receive your inheritance from the Lord as the reward. Serve the Lord Christ.

Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you should answer everyone.

For you yourselves know, brothers and sisters, about our coming to you – it has not proven to be purposeless.

As you know, we treated each one of you as a father treats his own children,

so that no one would be shaken by these afflictions. For you yourselves know that we are destined for this.

For in fact when we were with you, we were telling you in advance that we would suffer affliction, and so it has happened, as you well know.
