But Stephen, full of the Holy Spirit, looked intently toward heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God.

For unclean spirits, crying with loud shrieks, were coming out of many who were possessed, and many paralyzed and lame people were healed.

Now Simon, when he saw that the Spirit was given through the laying on of the apostles’ hands, offered them money,

saying, “Give me this power too, so that everyone I place my hands on may receive the Holy Spirit.”

While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit fell on all those who heard the message.

When they came to Mysia, they attempted to go into Bithynia, but the Spirit of Jesus did not allow them to do this,

While Paul was waiting for them in Athens, his spirit was greatly upset because he saw the city was full of idols.

and when Paul placed his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came upon them, and they began to speak in tongues and to prophesy.

But the evil spirit replied to them, “I know about Jesus and I am acquainted with Paul, but who are you?”

And now, compelled by the Spirit, I am going to Jerusalem without knowing what will happen to me there,

After we located the disciples, we stayed there seven days. They repeatedly told Paul through the Spirit not to set foot in Jerusalem.

but someone is a Jew who is one inwardly, and circumcision is of the heart by the Spirit and not by the written code. This person’s praise is not from people but from God.

And hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

But now we have been released from the law, because we have died to what controlled us, so that we may serve in the new life of the Spirit and not under the old written code.

For the law of the life-giving Spirit in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and death.
