But when the king came in to see the wedding guests, he saw a man there who was not wearing wedding clothes.

Then he said to them, “My soul is deeply grieved, even to the point of death. Remain here and stay awake with me.”

Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘There he is!’ do not believe him.

Then they brought to him a demon-possessed man who was blind and mute. Jesus healed him so that he could speak and see.

Then Peter remembered what Jesus had said: “Before the rooster crows, you will deny me three times.” And he went outside and wept bitterly.

He sent his slaves to summon those who had been invited to the banquet, but they would not come.

And he said to him, “I will give you all these things if you throw yourself to the ground and worship me.”

Now when Jesus entered Peter’s house, he saw his mother-in-law lying down, sick with a fever.

But when the crowd had been put outside, he went in and gently took her by the hand, and the girl got up.

Then Jesus began to criticize openly the cities in which he had done many of his miracles, because they did not repent.

When Jesus saw their reaction he said, “Why do you respond with evil in your hearts?

And aren’t all his sisters here with us? Where did he get all this?”

“Listen to another parable: There was a landowner who planted a vineyard. He put a fence around it, dug a pit for its winepress, and built a watchtower. Then he leased it to tenant farmers and went on a journey.

When it was evening, many demon-possessed people were brought to him. He drove out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick.

And such a large crowd gathered around him that he got into a boat to sit while the whole crowd stood on the shore.

On that day after Jesus went out of the house, he sat by the lake.

She will give birth to a son and you will name him Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.”

Then they understood that he had not told them to be on guard against the yeast in bread, but against the teaching of the Pharisees and Sadducees.

When Jesus came to the area of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, “Who do people say that the Son of Man is?”

and will turn him over to the Gentiles to be mocked and flogged severely and crucified. Yet on the third day, he will be raised.”
