And again another scripture says, “They will look on the one whom they have pierced.”

Then Peter and the other disciple set out to go to the tomb.

So they proposed two candidates: Joseph called Barsabbas (also called Justus) and Matthias.

We found a ship crossing over to Phoenicia, went aboard, and put out to sea.

“Brothers and fathers, listen to my defense that I now make to you.”

Those standing near him said, “Do you dare insult God’s high priest?”
