Jesus answered him, “It is said, ‘You are not to put the Lord your God to the test.’”

But they were filled with mindless rage and began debating with one another what they would do to Jesus.

Now when Jesus returned, the crowd welcomed him, because they were all waiting for him.

But Jesus said, “Someone touched me, for I know that power has gone out from me.”

But when Jesus heard this, he told him, “Do not be afraid; just believe, and she will be healed.”

But when Jesus discerned their innermost thoughts, he took a child, had him stand by his side,

But Jesus said to him, “Do not stop him, for whoever is not against you is for you.”

But the expert, wanting to justify himself, said to Jesus, “And who is my neighbor?”

When Jesus saw her, he called her to him and said, “Woman, you are freed from your infirmity.”

Then Jesus said, “Were not ten cleansed? Where are the other nine?

Jesus said to him, “Why do you call me good? No one is good except God alone.

So Jesus stopped and ordered the beggar to be brought to him. When the man came near, Jesus asked him,

Then Jesus said to them, “Neither will I tell you by whose authority I do these things.”

So Jesus said to them, “The people of this age marry and are given in marriage.

But Jesus said, “Enough of this!” And he touched the man’s ear and healed him.

While they were talking and debating these things, Jesus himself approached and began to accompany them

For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came about through Jesus Christ.

When the wine ran out, Jesus’ mother said to him, “They have no wine left.”

Jesus replied, “Woman, why are you saying this to me? My time has not yet come.”

Jesus told the servants, “Fill the water jars with water.” So they filled them up to the very top.
