Thus no one was allowed to buy or sell things unless he bore the mark of the beast – that is, his name or his number.

Is there anyone among you who, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone?

no bag for the journey, or an extra tunic, or sandals or staff, for the worker deserves his provisions.

“Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I have not come to bring peace but a sword.

They said to him, “We have here only five loaves and two fish.”

But immediately Jesus spoke to them: “Have courage! It is I. Do not be afraid.”

So he answered, “I was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.”

But Jesus came and touched them. “Get up,” he said. “Do not be afraid.”
