He said to me, “Son of man, can these bones live?” I said to him, “Sovereign Lord, you know.”

This is what the sovereign Lord says to these bones: Look, I am about to infuse breath into you and you will live.

When your people say to you, ‘Will you not tell us what these things mean?’

Then he brought me to the inner court by the south gate. He measured the south gate; it had the same dimensions as the others.

Then he brought me to the inner court on the east side. He measured the gate; it had the same dimensions as the others.

Below these chambers was a passage on the east side as one enters from the outer court.

This is the land which you will allot to the tribes of Israel, and these are their portions, declares the sovereign Lord.

“These are the exits of the city: On the north side, one and one-half miles by measure,

I heard, but I did not understand. So I said, “Sir, what will happen after these things?”

‘Don’t preach with such impassioned rhetoric,’ they say excitedly. ‘These prophets should not preach of such things; we will not be overtaken by humiliation.’

Then the man standing among the myrtle trees spoke up and said, “These are the ones whom the Lord has sent to walk about on the earth.”

Then I asked the messenger who spoke with me, “What are these, sir?”

Next I asked the messenger, “What are these two olive trees on the right and the left of the menorah?”

He replied, “Don’t you know what these are?” And I said, “No, sir.”

So he said, “These are the two anointed ones who stand by the Lord of the whole earth.”

Then I asked the angelic messenger who was speaking with me, “What are these, sir?”

Then someone will ask him, ‘What are these wounds on your chest?’ and he will answer, ‘Some that I received in the house of my friends.’

While they were bringing her out, she sent word to her father-in-law: “I am pregnant by the man to whom these belong.” Then she said, “Identify the one to whom the seal, cord, and staff belong.”

The Lord said to Moses, “Write down these words, for in accordance with these words I have made a covenant with you and with Israel.”

Joab son of Zeruiah and the servants of David also went out and confronted them at the pool of Gibeon. One group stationed themselves on one side of the pool, and the other group on the other side of the pool.
