And everyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but the person who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven.

But God said to him, ‘You fool! This very night your life will be demanded back from you, but who will get what you have prepared for yourself?’

You hypocrites! You know how to interpret the appearance of the earth and the sky, but how can you not know how to interpret the present time?

“When you are invited by someone to a wedding feast, do not take the place of honor, because a person more distinguished than you may have been invited by your host.

Another said, ‘I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I am going out to examine them. Please excuse me.’

The younger of them said to his father, ‘Father, give me the share of the estate that will belong to me.’ So he divided his assets between them.

The man replied, ‘A hundred measures of olive oil.’ The manager said to him, ‘Take your bill, sit down quickly, and write fifty.’

Now people were even bringing their babies to him for him to touch. But when the disciples saw it, they began to scold those who brought them.

And when the people saw it, they all complained, “He has gone in to be the guest of a man who is a sinner.”

And he summoned ten of his slaves, gave them ten minas, and said to them, ‘Do business with these until I come back.’

and said to him, “Tell us: By what authority are you doing these things? Or who it is who gave you this authority?”

But Jesus looked straight at them and said, “Then what is the meaning of that which is written: ‘The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone’?

Then a slave girl, seeing him as he sat in the firelight, stared at him and said, “This man was with him too!”

The women were terribly frightened and bowed their faces to the ground, but the men said to them, “Why do you look for the living among the dead?

And he said to him, “To you I will grant this whole realm – and the glory that goes along with it, for it has been relinquished to me, and I can give it to anyone I wish.

But so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins” – he said to the paralyzed man – “I tell you, stand up, take your stretcher and go home.”

He is like a man building a house, who dug down deep, and laid the foundation on bedrock. When a flood came, the river burst against that house but could not shake it, because it had been well built.

saying, “The Son of Man must suffer many things and be rejected by the elders, chief priests, and experts in the law, and be killed, and on the third day be raised.”

Then he will reply from inside, ‘Do not bother me. The door is already shut, and my children and I are in bed. I cannot get up and give you anything.’

As he said these things, a woman in the crowd spoke out to him, “Blessed is the womb that bore you and the breasts at which you nursed!”
