He did evil in the sight of the Lord his God. He did not humble himself before Jeremiah the prophet, the Lord’s spokesman.

I passed on to the Gate of the Well and the King’s Pool, where there was not enough room for my animal to pass with me.

The Lord rewarded me for my godly deeds; he took notice of my blameless behavior.
