After the Lord Jesus had spoken to them, he was taken up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God.

When he saw them he said, “Go and show yourselves to the priests.” And as they went along, they were cleansed.

Won’t God give justice to his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he delay long to help them?

So Jesus said to them, “The kings of the Gentiles lord it over them, and those in authority over them are called ‘benefactors.’

Then Jesus said to them, “When I sent you out with no money bag, or traveler’s bag, or sandals, you didn’t lack anything, did you?” They replied, “Nothing.”
