So Peter invited them in and entertained them as guests. On the next day he got up and set out with them, and some of the brothers from Joppa accompanied him.

At that hour of the night he took them and washed their wounds; then he and all his family were baptized right away.

While Paul was waiting for them in Athens, his spirit was greatly upset because he saw the city was full of idols.

But Paul went down, threw himself on the young man, put his arms around him, and said, “Do not be distressed, for he is still alive!”

By this we know that we reside in God and he in us: in that he has given us of his Spirit.
