I will sing a song that imparts wisdom; I will make insightful observations about the past.

Later, the other virgins came too, saying, ‘Lord, lord! Let us in!’

(Now the day on which Jesus made the mud and caused him to see was a Sabbath.)

Others said, “These are not the words of someone possessed by a demon. A demon cannot cause the blind to see, can it?”

Then he gives a revelation to people, and terrifies them with warnings,

He strikes them for their wickedness, in a place where people can see,

The inside of the temple was all cedar and was adorned with carvings of round ornaments and of flowers in bloom. Everything was cedar; no stones were visible.

The Lord pays attention to the godly and hears their cry for help.

They are ready to devour me; they say, “Aha! Aha! We’ve got you!”

The sovereign Lord has spoken to me clearly; I have not rebelled, I have not turned back.

Then they said to him, “What did he do to you? How did he cause you to see?”

Then God enabled Hagar to see a well of water. She went over and filled the skin with water, and then gave the boy a drink.

“May you be attentive to your servant’s and your people Israel’s requests for help and may you respond to all their prayers to you.

The gates of the towns in southern Judah will be shut tight. No one will be able to go in or out of them. All Judah will be carried off into exile. They will be completely carried off into exile.’”

So again they asked the man who used to be blind, “What do you say about him, since he caused you to see?” “He is a prophet,” the man replied.

On the two doors made of olive wood he carved cherubs, palm trees, and flowers in bloom, and he plated them with gold. He plated the cherubs and the palm trees with hammered gold.

If it accepts your terms and submits to you, all the people found in it will become your slaves.

Then you will remember, be ashamed, and remain silent when I make atonement for all you have done, declares the sovereign Lord.’”

And just as Jesus was coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens splitting apart and the Spirit descending on him like a dove.

But some of them said, “This is the man who caused the blind man to see! Couldn’t he have done something to keep Lazarus from dying?”
