When Joseph awoke from sleep he did what the angel of the Lord told him. He took his wife,

Then Jesus said to him, “Go away, Satan! For it is written: ‘You are to worship the Lord your God and serve only him.’”

So the slaves of the owner came and said to him, ‘Sir, didn’t you sow good seed in your field? Then where did the weeds come from?’

Peter said to him, “Lord, if it is you, order me to come to you on the water.”

So Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him: “God forbid, Lord! This must not happen to you!”

and said, “Lord, have mercy on my son, because he has seizures and suffers terribly, for he often falls into the fire and into the water.

Then Peter came to him and said, “Lord, how many times must I forgive my brother who sins against me? As many as seven times?”

Because he was not able to repay it, the lord ordered him to be sold, along with his wife, children, and whatever he possessed, and repayment to be made.

When his fellow slaves saw what had happened, they were very upset and went and told their lord everything that had taken place.

Then his lord called the first slave and said to him, ‘Evil slave! I forgave you all that debt because you begged me!

Two blind men were sitting by the road. When they heard that Jesus was passing by, they shouted, “Have mercy on us, Lord, Son of David!”

The crowd scolded them to get them to be quiet. But they shouted even more loudly, “Lord, have mercy on us, Son of David!”

If anyone says anything to you, you are to say, ‘The Lord needs them,’ and he will send them at once.”

For I tell you, you will not see me from now until you say, ‘Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord!’”

then the master of that slave will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he does not foresee,

The one with the two talents also came and said, ‘Sir, you entrusted two talents to me. See, I have gained two more.’

Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink?

Suddenly there was a severe earthquake, for an angel of the Lord descending from heaven came and rolled away the stone and sat on it.

She answered, “Yes, Lord, but even the dogs under the table eat the children’s crumbs.”

If anyone says to you, ‘Why are you doing this?’ say, ‘The Lord needs it and will send it back here soon.’”
