Now listen to what the Lord has to say, you descendants of Jacob, all you family groups from the nation of Israel.

“So, once more I will state my case against you,” says the Lord. “I will also state it against your children and grandchildren.

“It did no good for me to punish your people. They did not respond to such correction. You slaughtered your prophets like a voracious lion.”

And the Lord said, “This is how the people of Israel will eat their unclean food among the nations where I will banish them.”

I will place the corpses of the people of Israel in front of their idols, and I will scatter your bones around your altars.

When your people say to you, ‘Will you not tell us what these things mean?’

If God is glorified in him, God will also glorify him in himself, and he will glorify him right away.
