May glory be given to God our Father forever and ever. Amen.

Do not lie to one another since you have put off the old man with its practices

in everything give thanks. For this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

And so you know what holds him back, so that he will be revealed in his own time.

since he wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.

He must not be a recent convert or he may become arrogant and fall into the punishment that the devil will exact.

For we have brought nothing into this world and so we cannot take a single thing out either.

In this way they will save up a treasure for themselves as a firm foundation for the future and so lay hold of what is truly life.

For this gospel I was appointed a preacher and apostle and teacher.

Such women are always seeking instruction, yet never able to arrive at a knowledge of the truth.

“As I swore in my anger, ‘They will never enter my rest!’”

but to repeat the text cited earlier: “They will never enter my rest!”

as also in another place God says, “You are a priest forever in the order of Melchizedek.”

But if it produces thorns and thistles, it is useless and about to be cursed; its fate is to be burned.

For here is the testimony about him: “You are a priest forever in the order of Melchizedek.”

but he holds his priesthood permanently since he lives forever.

For by one offering he has perfected for all time those who are made holy.

Therefore, brothers and sisters, since we have confidence to enter the sanctuary by the blood of Jesus,

And let us take thought of how to spur one another on to love and good works,

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever!
